Mold Remediation

Mold is one of the most annoying phenomena in nature. Yes, it might have its own significance but once they take over the house or even a small area of the house, there is a potential health risk. Molds can usually grow on any substance. Especially if the object or place is moist most of the time and there is a flow of oxygen and organic sources.

These are bacterial fungi that reproduce very quickly and float in the air infecting whatever it gets in contact with. The process of getting rid of mold has led to many technological hacks and other smart methods. While they may not seem like much, many health and insurance fields recognize mold remediation as a necessity for any affected structure.

Mold is more than an annoyance or cosmetic concern. Exposure to damp and moldy environments can potentially cause a variety of unpleasant health effects. In 2004, the Institute of Medicine found there was sufficient evidence to link indoor exposure to mold with upper respiratory tract symptoms, cough, and wheeze in otherwise healthy people; asthma symptoms in people with asthma; and hypersensitivity pneumonitis in individuals susceptible to that immune-mediated condition.

Vertical 1 Services is a leader in mold remediation and removal techniques. We are licensed and certified in Microbial Containment Remediation. No job is too big or small for our trained professionals. If you happen to find any signs of mold in your attic, basement, bathroom or crawl space, our team of certified specialists will be at your disposal.

One of the worst things about mold is that it can spread very quickly and can continue spreading if the source of moisture and oxygen is not eradicated. Our highly-skilled professionals receive training and proper education for mold remediation and stay ahead of the curve with all the latest technologies and cleaning methods.

  • Our trained technicians and servicemen inspect the mold formation.

  • We locate the root cause for that problem and our hygienist will draw up a remediation plan to find ways to dry and fix the excess moisture in that area.

  • Once we have removed or handled the cause of the problem, our servicemen perform a clearance testing of the air for any residual moisture or remaining mold content.

  • After the air is evaluated and there are no signs of any moisture or mold, we fix everything back, clean, and dry the area once again.
